How to: Update ICX firmware (USB)
Upgrade the switch using USB drive
Habitech recommend using SPS08092dufi or newer firmware releases to prevent firmware corruptions!
Upload Firmware file into the USB stick and make a note of directory of the file.

- Plug in usb drive into the ICX7150 switch and log into it.
Once plugged in type in the commands:
Ena
Copy disk0 flash ICX7150/Images/SPS08090dufi.bin primary
*the file directory will vary depending on where you upload the file on a USB stick. In this case I stored firmware files in ICX7150/Images folders

(When completed you should get another Flash Done message)
Now we need to update secondary partition
Copy disk0 flash ICX7150/Images/SPS08090dufi.bin secondary the file directory will vary depending on where you upload the file on a USB stick.

(When completed you should get another Flash Done message)
Once firmware update completed you need to reboot the switch for changes to come into effect. Type the command:
Reload
You will be asked if you are sure of doing so, confirm it by typing.
Y
When the switch reboots log into it using your previous credentials. If the switch had no configuration whatsoever prior the update, the credentials will be:
username super
password sp-admin
Once logged in check the firmware version.
Show version or it can be abbreviated to sh fl

if there is a mismatch between pri boot and sec boot partions, update them using the following commands:
copy fl fl pri or copy fl fl sec
This command will take already stored firmware and copy it to another partition. If you need to update primary partition use:
copy fl fl pri
If you need to update primary secondary use:
copy fl fl sec
The update is now complete.
