Sanus LMF115 Full-Motion TV Mount Install Guide
Sanus LMF115 Full-Motion TV Mount — Install Guide
The Sanus LMF115 is a full-motion (articulating) wall mount for smaller and mid-size displays. This guide covers the install for UK trade fitters.
Pre-check
- Weight limit: the TV including accessories must not exceed 50 lb (22.6 kg). Over that, the LMF115 is not compatible.
- VESA range: 100 x 100 mm up to 400 x 400 mm.
- Movement: roughly 6° roll and 15° down tilt at the arm.
- Indoor use only.
Wall type and fixings
- Designed for timber stud, solid concrete and concrete block — do not install into plasterboard alone.
- For concrete the separate CMK1 concrete kit is required (not included).
- The wall must support five times the combined weight of the TV and mount.
- Pilot bits: timber 7/32 in (5.5 mm), concrete 3/8 in (10 mm), anchors set with the 1/2 in (13 mm) bit.
Tools to have ready
Awl, pencil, spirit level, stud finder, screwdriver, tape measure, electric drill, and — for concrete — a hammer and 1/2 in socket wrench plus the correct bit.
Fitting sequence
Follow the illustrated steps in the source PDF for exact bracket and plate detail. The principles:
- Fit the TV brackets — correct screw diameter, levelled, shortest screw-and-spacer that holds securely. Don't over-length the screws or you risk the panel's internals.
- Mount the wall plate — locate studs (or mark the concrete), level the plate, drill pilots to depth, and fix. With concrete, seat the CMK1 anchors flush before bolting. Tighten only until firm against the plate.
- Hang and dress — bring the arm and panel onto the plate, then set the tilt and roll for the viewing position. Being a full-motion arm, the leverage on the fixings is higher, so don't compromise on substrate.
