StormAudio ISP MK2 — Quick Start Guide
A fast bring-up sequence for the StormAudio ISP MK2 immersive sound processor range. For full detail see the ISP MK2 owner's manual — this is the on-site short form.
In the box
ISP MK2 unit, power cord, two Wi-Fi antennas, rack-mount ears, Dirac calibration microphone, mic stand adapter, and a USB sound card for the mic.
Step 1 — Unpack and install
Unpack the unit and either rack it (use the supplied ears) or sit it on a stable surface. Fit the Wi-Fi antennas if you plan to use wireless networking.
Step 2 — Connect
HDMI sources to the inputs.
Displays / projector to the outputs.
Power amplifiers to the balanced analogue outputs.
Network cable to the RJ45 port.
Step 3 — Power on
Connect the power cord to an earthed socket and press the front-panel power button. Wait for the unit to boot.
Step 4 — Network setup
Get your computer or tablet onto the same network as the ISP, then read the unit's IP address from the front-panel display (Settings > Network).
Step 5 — Web interface
Enter that IP address in a browser to open the web interface — this is where you configure everything.
Step 6 — Configuration
Configure inputs, outputs and speaker settings to match the room layout.
Step 7 — Calibration
Run Dirac Live calibration for optimised sound. Install the Dirac Live desktop app, connect the calibration mic via the supplied USB sound card, and follow the prompts at each listening position.
Step 8 — Done
The ISP MK2 is now set up and ready. For advanced configuration, refer to the full owner's manual.
