Blaze PowerZone: Import Speaker Preset Library
Overview
Use this procedure to load a Sonance speaker preset library file into a Blaze PowerZone Connect amplifier. Speaker presets apply manufacturer-tuned EQ curves to each output channel, matched to specific Sonance or James speaker models.
Download the Library File
- Download the speaker preset library from sonance.com (product page for the specific speaker). Skip this step if importing a third-party or custom library file.
- Navigate to the downloaded file and unzip if required.
- Check the file extension:
.zcl= full library file..zcp= individual speaker preset.
Import the Library into the Amplifier
- Open the amplifier web UI — browse to the amp's IP address, or use the Blaze PowerZone Control app.
- Go to Settings > Speaker Library.
- Click Import. A file browser window opens.
- Select the attachment icon and locate the
.zcllibrary file. - Click Load. The library imports into the amplifier.
- Apply presets per channel in the Output tab.
Important: Importing a library overwrites any existing library on the amplifier. To add presets to an existing library without overwriting, use the Speaker Preset Library management procedure instead.
