Blaze PowerZone: Speaker Preset Library Management

Overview

Use this procedure to create a new speaker preset library, add presets to an existing library, or export a library from a Blaze PowerZone Connect amplifier. Speaker preset files use two formats: .zcp (individual preset) and .zcl (full library). Refer to the [Import Speaker Preset Library](/articles/blaze-powerzone-import-speaker-preset-library) article if you need to load a complete library without modification.

Download Preset Files

• Download the required .zcp preset file(s) from sonance.com.
• Unzip the downloaded file if needed.
• Confirm the file extension: .zcp = individual preset, .zcl = full library.

Create a New Library

1. Open the amplifier web UI — browse to the amp's IP address or use the Blaze PowerZone Control app.
2. Go to Settings > Speaker Library.
3. Click Create. A new library window opens.
4. Name the library.
5. Highlight >Speaker Series 1, then click the download icon.
6. Click Select File Speaker Presets and browse to your .zcp preset file(s).
7. Select one or more presets and click Open to add them.
8. Click Update to save the library.
9. Apply presets per channel in the Output tab.

Tip: Use folders to organise presets by brand, category, or use case. Click Add Folder, name it, then add presets into each folder. This keeps the library easy to navigate on-site.

Add Presets to an Existing Library

1. Open the amplifier web UI.
2. Go to Settings > Speaker Library.
3. Click Edit. The library editor opens.
4. Click the New Folder icon to create a new folder (defaults to "Speaker Series 1"). Rename it by highlighting and clicking the edit icon.
5. Highlight the new folder, then click the Download icon. Select the preset file(s) to add and click Import.
6. Click Update to save.
7. Apply the new preset in the Output tab.

Export a Library

Exporting saves the full preset library as a .zcl file so it can be loaded to other amplifiers on the same or different jobs.

1. Open the amplifier web UI.
2. Go to Settings > Speaker Library.
3. Click Edit, then click Export. The .zcl file downloads to your Downloads folder.
4. Save it to a known location. Use the [Import Speaker Preset Library](/articles/blaze-powerzone-import-speaker-preset-library) procedure to load it to other amps.
