Adding Dahua camera to non Dahua NVR

Adding Dahua cameras to non Dahua NVR will use Onvif connection, you will have to make sure that Dahua camera's is fully set up. In order to do so you will have to log in directly to the camera using web ui interface on 192.168.1.108

By connecting Dahua camera to non Dahua NVR you will get:

• Snapshots
• Motion detection

All other features will not port through to non Dahua NVR.

Another way of utilising more Dahua features would be to link the camera via DMSS app using P2P. This can be a bit messy as each Dahua camera will be shown as a seperate system on the app. Please keep in mind that if you decide to go this route the camera must be connected to the PoE switch.
