On some occasions we have seen that after a firmware update on Arcam that the Network card has had some issues - this is usually indicated by the fact you have 000.000.000.000 showing as its IP address and the MAC address will show as AA:BB:CC:DD:EE.
If this is the case then please follow the recovery method below.
You will need
1. USB thumb drive - 1gb to 8gb of storage.
2. Recovery firmware - AVRx0_System0v1129T1(20).fw
3. Arcam AVR remote control
Guide.
1. Load the Beta HOST via USB, only the host file should be loaded on the USB.
2. Once the Host is installed follow the steps below to recover the net.
To recover the modules that have fallen over this recovery method should do the trick
• Power the Arcam unit up (if not already)
• Insert USB that has the Recovery firmware into the Arcam unit.
• Once fully booted, on the remote press in sequence “BD, ”AMP, ”2”, ”7”, ”3”, ”8”. The front panel will display a clear message stating Avatar recovery has begun.

• Hard power cycle the unit.
• Wake it from standby if it is in standby and wait 60 seconds to boot.
• Factory reset by holding INFO + ZONE on the front panel >3 secs
• Test network functionality
If the network is back up and running, install the current release HOST software via USB.
