Cambium ONE Network: Managed Install and Support Guide
What Is Cambium ONE Network?
Cambium ONE Network is a unified portfolio of wireless and wired networking products managed from a single cloud platform (cnMaestro). The portfolio spans indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi access points, managed Ethernet switches, fixed wireless broadband, point-to-point backhaul, and security appliances — all managed from one dashboard.
The key premise for installers: the hardware, the cloud management, and the support contract are from one vendor. There is no separate management platform per product family.
Benefits for Installers
Simplified operations: Enterprises and managed service providers manage the network as a whole rather than configuring individual devices in isolation. Per-device configuration via CLI is replaced by profile-based management applied from the cloud.
Consistent outcomes: Cambium's cloud management applies configurations consistently across sites. A profile defined once can be pushed to a new site deployment without repeating manual setup — reducing installation time and human error.
Remote management: Configuration changes, firmware updates, and fault investigation are done remotely from cnMaestro. On-site attendance is required for physical installation only — not for commissioning or ongoing management.
Lifetime limited warranty and 24/7 support: Cambium provides hardware warranty and round-the-clock technical support as standard — useful for installers who commit to ongoing support contracts with their clients.
Positioning for Installers
ONE Network is the right choice when the installer is providing an end-to-end managed network service. All products integrate with cnMaestro, so new hardware (additional access points, new switches) is added to the existing management environment rather than requiring a separate management stack.
